Heat and batteries
How long does the battery last?
Each product page lists the run time for every heat setting. As a guide, our vests run about 3 hours on high, 5 to 6 hours on medium and up to 8 to 10 hours on low with the included battery. Cold air shortens any lithium battery's run time, so keep a spare in an inside pocket for all-day sits.
How hot does it get?
Vests, jackets and gloves have three settings, and the socks have adjustable heat. High is for warming up fast, medium for steady hours, low for long sits and to save battery. Product pages list the panel temperature range for each piece.
Is the battery included?
Yes. Every heated piece ships with its rechargeable battery and a charging cable. Spare batteries are available as an add-on.
How long does charging take?
About 3 to 5 hours from empty with a standard USB wall charger.
Can I fly with it?
Yes. Take the battery out of the garment and keep it in your carry-on bag, not checked luggage. Check your airline's rules before you fly.
Are the batteries safe?
Every battery pack has protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit and overheating. See our battery safety page for charging, storage and flying tips.
Fit and use
Which size should I choose?
Our heated vests and jackets are cut to layer: wear them over a base layer and under a shell. Each product page has a size guide. If you're between sizes and plan to layer underneath, size up. Size exchanges are free.
Can I wear it hunting, fishing or climbing?
Yes, that's what it's for. The battery sits in an internal pocket so it stays out of the way of a bow draw, a cast or a harness, and the controls are silent.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Unplug and remove the battery, close the zips, and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, or hand wash. Hang to dry. Never tumble dry, iron or dry clean heated gear.
Is it safe for people with Raynaud's or poor circulation?
Many people who run cold love heated gear, but if you have a medical condition affecting circulation or sensation, ask your doctor first and start on the low setting. Our products aren't medical devices.

How do kit discounts work?
Add any 2 heated items and save 15%. Add 3 or more and save 25%. Mix any products and sizes. The discount applies automatically in your cart and at checkout.
How fast is shipping?
Free tracked shipping in 3 to 7 business days from our US warehouse. Orders before 12 pm Eastern on a business day ship the same day. Express (2 to 3 business days) is $12.95.
What if it doesn't keep me warm?
Return it within 60 days of delivery for a full refund, even if you've worn it outside. We send a free return label. See our refund policy.
What's covered by the warranty?
Two years on heating elements and batteries. If one stops working in normal use, we repair, replace or refund it. See our refund policy for the details.
Which payment methods do you take?
